Dinner + Checklists

I have so many photos to post, but i've been so busy! Yesterday we actually
took a little time off to relax, which was extremely needed, especially for this
upcoming week in San Diego. We're heading down for a trade show for 5-6 days.

I haven't been taking much film, mostly due to a shortage in $$$. I'd rather use what
we do have, on a good dinner, or a game to relax after a long day. Hopefully after this trade show
is over, there will be more time and I can get back into taking a little more film.

Worked from home today and got a lot of stuff done around the house. There were issues
with the electricity at our apt complex and the washer + dryer room lost all of its power!
My husband had to take everything down the street to wash and dry and I cooked dinner.
I made a Penne Pasta w/ Italian Sausage, grilled onions and peppers and toasted some
bread. Still don't really know what I'm doing in the kitchen, but I'm learning.

I need to learn how to make something new. Definitely.

Jacque + Chris

Just got back from Vegas tonight and I feel really tired. That drive back
is brutal, but I'd still take it over flying any day!

I have a stiff neck from the high pillows at my friend's house. They have
the most comfortable bed! But I made the grave mistake of falling sleep
weird on one of the towering pillows and waking w/ an extremely stiff neck.
Hopefully it'll stop hurting soon, it's only getting worse!

We took the engagement shots on Sunday & got a lottt of really great ones.
I'm so happy, and even happier that they enjoyed it & like the photos! I was
so nervous for so long. I also had such a good time hanging out with Jacque.
I missed that so much, just sitting around talking about our lives. That's all
I really need. I love my friends.

I'll post more photos later. I need to get some sleep, I just realized it's 3:23 am!
So tired!

Weddings

How beautiful are these images?! Even the one on the top, which is slightly blurred!
Still incredibly moving, in my opinion. Can I turn back the hands of time and have
my wedding photos taken like this? In some vineyard, with bottles full of fireflies? Sigh...

Practice Photos

One of my best friends is getting married in December, and i'll be taking
her engagement photos! I've never done this in my life so
I'm a little nervous. I just want to make sure she gets some really good
shots that she can look back on and be incredibly happy with.

I asked my husband if he could accompany me to the park to shoot some
practice shots. Here's a few that I ended up with. What do you think??
I tried not to use any post-processing. Only really post-processed one.
You'll know which. Also tried working on Diptychs, which is why almost
all of them are combined photos. :)














Here's the post-processed shot. Personally, I like it better than the non processed one,
below. What do you think? Yay? Or Nei?


I used two different images for the previous two. They look quite similar.

Well, my friend's engagement shoot is next week in Vegas. Wish me luck!
