Along The Salton Sea

Salton Sea. (Quick video)

Little Iphone video (click link) I took while driving along the Salton Sea, this past weekend.
Bout to try and get some sleep. Need to wake up really early tomorrow, and it feels like an earth-
quake just hit the inside of my head. A 9.0 on the richter to be exact. Zzz G'night, world.

Playoffs. Work. Wedding | Overwhelmed

Feeling just a tad bit overwhelmed today, it was only a matter of time I guess. Couldn't
sleep again last night. Worked all morning on designs and on the side with Jacque's
engagement photos. The first batch I sent her a few weeks ago got erased so I'm
doing them again, which isn't too bad, there's just 8 of them.

Lots going on right now. I need to manage the time a little better cause it's starting
to stress me out. Where do I start? When will it end? Need. Change. Let's start over..

Palm Springs | Windmills & Full Moons

Second batch of photos from the trip. What is it about windmills that make them so
lovely to look at? Or is that just me thinking crazy? Just something so peaceful about
them. Ron said it's their connection with nature. I can see that. My love for them could
also be due to the fact, we never had them in Hawaii. It's like growing up in the
midwest and finally leaving to see the ocean after 29 years. It's almost surreal, to see
something you've only seen in books or movies. You try to make the moments last a
little longer but they never do.

I can always revisit them in my memory though, and that's just as good. :)

Palm Springs | Oct

Just got back from Palm Springs. It was interesting and relaxing to say the least, although I
probably couldn't live there. Here are a few photos from the past few days. Post more later.
Hope these image links don't go bad.

Ron. Immediately after breakfast at 6pm. A little early for a dinner.

Palm Springs. Yes, pretty much sums it up. Strange strange things lurking in every corner.

$5 to climb T.Rex. I didn't pay.

Cabazon. Visiting Pee Wee's T.Rex, from Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

Breakfast in bed, after a looong night at some weird pub, watching the dodger game. I had
a pounding headache this morning. Didn't even make it out to the pool to lounge with
a tropical drink in hand.

Fields of green, in the afternoon sun. This was one of the most memorable moments
of the trip for some reason. Some kind of freeing feeling here. I felt peaceful for the
first time in about a month.

Diners with friendly waitresses and tasty home fried potatoes.

Salton, Sea. A large body of water in the middle of the desert. Such an odd sight to see,
and the few towns that line the water, look like they were hit by a nuclear bomb. I've never
seen anything like it. I wish I took more photos there, but it was too windy and we didn't
end up staying too long.

Went to lunch this afternoon, in Palm Springs. I guess a lot of people left yesterday,
but I noticed a few stragglers were left leeching on barstools, sipping on fruity cocktails & dancing to
80's pop songs. I felt like I hopped into a twilight zone portal.

Southern Seas & Playlists

*edit: Not sure why my images are erasing?! Fixed*

Heading out tomorrow morning for a little mini-vacation. I'm just looking forward to enjoying
life, without the worries of work and all things (ye$ money) related.

Got a bunch of songs together for the drive down. Found a lot of good, new music. New
music is always a good thing & always makes me smile. I hope everyone has a great
weekend. I'll post some youtube links when I get back, along w/ photos, of course.

xoxo

To Be Continued...

My morning. I've missed you, morning.

Fridays | Groggy & Musical

I had to erase a few entries unfortunately. The links went bad, not sure why, but didn't
have the time to go in and fix each one.

Been listening to this song all morning. Putting me in an alright kinda mood. I just
might have a coffee and really concentrate on work. Let's hope. Nyquil did a good job!
Good job, Nyquil. The grogginess is burning off like fog in the afternoon light. Have a
nice morning.
