3 Days

It was actually a little chilly last night when my husband and I went out for dinner. I ended
up driving, for the first time in literally months! Ever since we've moved here, i've been
scared to drive on the freeways. Last night I somehow worked up the courage to drive
to dinner and afterwards, I had some strange urge to just keep going! Past the cut-off
to our little apartment, onto the freeway, and all the way through downtown. It made
me feel like a teenager again, joyriding in my moms little honda hatchback with 8 girls
crammed into the back giggling and singing over each other to songs on the radio. But
anyway, that's a different story...

3 Days till my little sister comes to visit me. I haven't seen her in about 3-4 months
but it feels terribly longer. This is my sister, and the photo was taken about 6 months
ago. My walls look so empty and sad, I've been trying to think of what to do with them.
Been lacking in the inspiration dept. so they could use some excitement.

In other news: I found a camera shop close to our place. The lab I normally go to doesn't sell
a lot of film so I'm forced to just order online. This new place has a vast assortment of 35mm and
120 film. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I locked eyes onto the film fridge! I picked up two rolls
of 35mm Kodak Portra 160NC. I've used the 400VC before and loved it, but have been admiring
the colors that natural color brings into photographs. Just something so charming about that flat
desaturated look.

These are a few of my most favorite cameras. I still have some Polaroid 600 film stashed away in
the fridge for a rainy day. I am praying for The Impossible Project to come through. Fingers
will stay crossed until then. I have much faith.

It's almost Friday! Hang in there & i'll try to do the same.
