    Oh my god Leila...do you know how long I've been looking for this movie? It played on PBS a long time ago and I missed it. It's based on a story by Lois Ann Yamanaka and was produced by the director who did Picture Bride. I don't think it came out on dvd.

    HAHHAHAHAHAH chicken skin i tell you. i found it randomly! is the whole movie there? i didn't check. maybe i'll check now. ahh glad you finally found it! oh btw, i was online all day! i didn't see you though. were we on at the same time but both in ghost-mode??? ahah.
